We are rarely taught the skills that shape our lives.

How you know yourself. How you connect with the people who matter. How you make decisions when it counts. Most of us have been thinking about these for years — without a structure that makes the work actually stick.

Investing in yourself isn't indulgent. It's foundational.

Groundwork is built to support that investment.

Designed around how change actually happens.

Start with a diagnosis.

A short self-assessment shows you where you stand across five areas of human development. Your lowest scores become your starting point — not someone else's curriculum.

Five minutes.

Meaningful inner work doesn't require large blocks of time — it requires consistency. Most sessions take three to five minutes to read and begin.

Your space.

No social feeds, no comparisons, no AI-generated content. Every prompt was written by people who care about this work. Your reflections stay yours.

No finish line.

The same practice you engage with today will mean something different in a year. Groundwork is built to be returned to, not completed.

Small and consistent, over time, produces insight that grand efforts rarely do. One month. Three months. A year. That's where the real work happens — and the people around you will notice before you do.

What you write stays on your device. No AI reads your responses. Your reflections are yours.

Founding member offer

A different way to think about the investment.

The waitlist just means you'll hear first. When access opens, the founding price — $49 for lifetime access — goes to the first 100 people who decide to purchase. No obligation to join the list; if you pass, the next person gets the spot.

After founding closes, lifetime access is $99. Or, if you're not exhausted by subscriptions like we are, $60/yr — like everything at Groundwork, the choice is yours.

Where this comes from

Groundwork was developed by practitioners who spent years working with adults navigating high-stakes environments — leaders, educators, coaches — who needed tools that were research-grounded and actually doable in the middle of a demanding life. That work eventually became a book, The Daily SEL Leader, published by Corwin Press. The underlying framework maps directly onto the challenges every adult faces: knowing yourself, managing what's hard, and showing up well for the people around you. The practices here draw from decades of published research in human development, positive psychology, and evidence-based frameworks for self-awareness and growth.

We built it because we needed it ourselves.
